Getting started with RoofPoint today requires only a few simple steps:

  • Download the RoofPoint 2012 Guideline. Preview the RoofPoint 2012 Guideline for Environmentally Innovative Nonresidential Roofing.  The guideline provides a comprehensive roadmap for the selection of all types of roofing systems, including both low-slope and steep-slope applications. Purchase a full version of the guideline, by visiting the RoofPoint Shop.
  • Log On to the RoofPoint Application. Click here to be directed to the RoofPoint Online Application where current users will be prompted to enter their username and password, and new users can create a RoofPoint account. Once logged in you will be taken to the RoofPoint Dashboard, where you can start a RoofPoint application.
  • Complete the Step-by-Step Project Application. The RoofPoint Online Application allows users to electronically submit project data and score each RoofPoint credit. The application automatically tallies and saves your project as you move through the application. You also will be provided with quick access to detailed explanations for each credit requirement.
  • Submit Your RoofPoint Project. Once you have completed your RoofPoint Project Application you will be prompted to upload supporting documents and then you may submit your project for evaluation by a RoofPoint staff member. Roofing projects that achieve a total minimum score of 12 points and minimum required points in each of the Energy, Materials/Water and Durability/Life Cycle categories will be eligible for inclusion in the RoofPoint program.
